Event Details
Atlantic Leadership Forum (ALF) is a leadership program designed to support undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds to develop and strengthen their leadership skills.
The main goal of ALF is to give students a vision for serving the community with a global perspective, by forging connections with locally, nationally, and internationally-renowned leaders and experts.
ALF programs are designed to create opportunities for participants to bridge the gap between the theory and practice of leadership necessary to thrive in their future professional careers. Together with sponsoring institutions, each spring ALF identifies upper level undergraduate students and organizes a Luncheon to introduce them to leaders in the community. This year's ALF is made possible by support from the The Atlantic Institute in Atlanta, GA and Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
How can you be part of ALF?
If you are a student, inform the faculty members in your department to sponsor you, and have your sponsor contact us.

Pre-law
Political science
International relations / Area Studies
Criminal Justice
Journalism / Communication/ Media Studies
Sociology/Anthropology
Business/MBA
If you are a faculty member and interested in sponsoring your students or hosting this event at your university, please contact us. Please note that each faculty member can nominate 4 or 5 students. The total number of participants (including the sponsoring faculty) must not be less than 5 and more than 6.
We are now accepting student nominations for February 19th program, sponsored and hosted by Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
How to register?
There are two ways of registering.
First, a sponsoring faculty can register on behalf of the students by entering their names, departments/majors and contact information.
Second, students who receive prior confirmation from Istanbul Center can register individually provided that they are referred to this program by a faculty member from a higher education institution in the state of Georgia. Please contact us if you have any questions. Please note that space is limited.
